The Calvary Pentecostal Church Youth Department operates under the direction of Bro. and Sis. Harlan Morgan, with assistance from older youth and young marrieds as needed. Youth events are for ages 12 and older. (Please see Children’s Ministry for those through age 11.) CPC Youth Ministry conducts such events as youth services and fun activities, out of town trips, youth rallies, and youth revivals. Our youth services are held on announced Saturday nights at 7:00 PM.

The CPC Youth Department concluded 2009 and began 2010 at Heritage Youth Conference in Fort Worth Texas. We were blessed and challenged by the anointed ministries of Revs. Tim Pixler, Johnny Burgess, and John Padgett. This was our second year to attend Winter Heritage, and each person was greatly blessed by it. On Saturday, January 2, before heading back to Jeanerette, we again visited Six Flags in Arlington, and everybody had a blast! The youth even succeeded in getting Bro. Morgan on the TITAN again!

On January 15, we attended a great youth rally in Baton Rouge, hosted by Pastor Tony Spell. We were blessed by the ministry of Rev. Joel Gatlin, and we enjoyed a time of fun and fellowship upon the conclusion of the service.

The youth are looking forward to a trip to Incredible Pizza (food and fun) on February 6 and the Youth Weekend held at the Lake Charles Civic Center on February 26-27. This event is hosted by First Apostolic Church of Moss Bluff, Pastor Jon Hair. Speakers include Revs. Ben Weeks and Nathan Morton.

Recreation will be held for the youth at the St. Mary Parish Civic Center at the conclusion of the 20^th Annual Bible Conference service, March 19.
