Calvary Pentecostal Church's Junior Bible Quizzing Team is coached by Johnathan and Jessica Istre. Quizzers are McKenzie Landry, Mallorie Louviere and Ashlyn Waguespack, all age nine. The first quiz tournament was held in Jena, LA on January 30th, and the quizzers had to memorize 61 verses out of the book of Acts.

Although the team did not win a trophy for the first tournament, they tried their best and did not get discouraged. The quizzers realize that bible quizzing is not all about winning...it is about instilling God's word in their hearts.

The second tournament will be held in Tomball, TX on March the 13th, and the quizzers will need to know a total of 121 verses
